Losing weight is hard. That is something that everyone knows. There are always times when you look upbeat and think your goal is very close, but you’re dying to eat a chocolate-filled muffin the next day.
For that reason, I will try to tell you the three best tricks to lose weight. Of course, for them to work, you have to do your part. These tips really work, but that does not mean that they do not cost to carry them out. Do you dare?
Move more
And I mean moving more, not going to the gym more times, or lying there for 3 hours. Set a goal of walking 10,000 steps every day and record it with a mobile app, a pedometer, or a FitBit bracelet. In this way, you will know at all times how many steps you take and how many you have left to reach 10,000. It is true that right off the bat, it may be challenging to get those 10,000 steps, so what you can do during the first days is to set a goal of 7,000 and then, over time, go up little by little.
You must always keep in mind that you have to move. That is when you get home or to the office, take the stairs. If you are going somewhere close to where you are, get out early and walk instead of using the car.
In the end, those little gestures will add to the calories you burn during the day, with magnificent results.

Eat with concentration
One of the keys to losing weight is nutrition awareness. By this, I do not mean to eat while you stare at the food, but to plan well what you will eat during the day (if it is during the week, much better). Prepare the day before what you are going to eat the next day, and thus avoid the temptation to snack between meals or to devour something at the bar in front of the office.
If you have no choice but to eat or dine out, take a few minutes to read the menu and analyze which would be the best option. We often ask for the first thing we see in the photos of the menus (which is rarely the healthiest thing).
And the same thing happens when you serve your food on your plate. It is better to take a little and then a little more than to go overboard and eat everything. Statistically, you are less likely to eat more repeating dishes than eating a serving for 3.
All for one and one for all
To lose weight, as for any goal we set ourselves, having support is essential to make the path easier. I am not talking about people who encourage you every day (which would not be bad either) but to have someone or a group of people with whom to share your progress. What’s more, you can create a group on Facebook or an account on Instagram to show people the steps you are taking to reach your goal. In addition to serving as an inspiration to other people, you will find yourself “forced” to stay on the right track so as not to leave your followers stranded.
In summary, moving, eating well, and having support are the three most essential pillars if you want to lose weight. As I said, it is not an easy path, but it is very achievable.
Much encouragement!
